Smart links on your artist address
Put your name in the link you share.
A release destination beside your website.
Share a public smart link under your Beatro artist address, or under your connected custom domain. Keep the artwork and listening buttons on a dedicated page while giving fans an address that belongs with your artist website.
Copy the published address from Link Studio. A custom domain uses the same public smart-link name under your domain.
What you get
An artist address
Hosted links use beatro.com/your-handle/your-release.
Your own domain
With a connected domain, the destination uses yourdomain.com/your-release.
A focused destination
Artwork and listening buttons give this release its own page beside the rest of your site.
How it works
Create a public smart link
In Link Studio, choose a smart link and add the release details.
Check the address
Use its public name and copy the generated URL. Names reserved for site pages cannot be used.
Publish and share
Open the published URL and check the listening destinations before putting it in your campaign.
Use it for
Release announcements
Give each single or album a recognisable address.
Email campaigns
Send listeners to the release page rather than asking them to find the song on your homepage.
An established domain
Keep the campaign destination alongside the website fans already recognise.
Questions
Must I buy a domain first?
No. Use your Beatro artist address, then connect your own domain on an eligible plan when ready.
Can I use any page name?
The name must be available and cannot clash with an artist page such as store or music. Use the address generated by Link Studio.
Is a private listening link the same thing?
No. Public smart links help fans reach music services. Private listening links are a separate workflow for sharing audio with recipients.
Can listening destinations change later?
Yes. Update the public smart link and keep sharing its address. The music-smart-links feature explains release-day matching.
Share a release from your own address.
Build the public page in Link Studio and copy its published link.
