How to Sell Tickets for Your Own Concert
Selling a show starts with a clear event and ends with admitting the right people at the door. Set up both before announcing the ticket link. The buyer needs a date, venue, price and ticket; the door team needs a working check-in page.
Before you start
Confirm the venue, date, time and capacity. Have a store-enabled plan and complete the existing payment connection in Settings > Store before offering paid tickets.
Steps
Create the event
Add the show with its date, time, venue and city. Check the details against the venue’s announcement. If there are age restrictions or useful arrival instructions, include them in the event information.
Set up the ticket product
Create a ticket linked to the event, choose its price and set the available quantity. Use the actual sellable capacity. Keep any guest allocation in mind when deciding how many paid tickets to offer.
Review the public page
Publish the ticket and open the public store page on a phone. Check the event, price and available quantity before sharing the link. Buyers receive a ticket page with a QR code and a code that can be typed at the door.
Prepare check-in
Open the event’s check-in tools on the phone you will use. Share a door link with the staff who need it. Load the guest list while connected before using no-signal mode, and reconnect to sync check-ins.
Check
A ticket admits once. Make sure staff know how to use the typed-code fallback and how to handle an already-used or refunded ticket. Keep the event details current if plans change.
